In 2020 and 2021, Teiger Foundation supported COVID-19-related relief efforts in the arts, including grants to the Artist Relief Fund, Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grants COVID-19 Relief Fund, and the Tri-State Relief Fund to Support Non-Salaried Workers in the Visual Arts and three coalitions of smaller New York-based arts organizations: The Consortium—fifteen small- to medium-size visual-art nonprofits now known as Collaborative Arts Network New York or CANNY; The Coalition for Small Arts (thirty-two smaller nonprofits in the arts); and Rethinking Residencies. The board was also pleased to commit lead support to the 59th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia: The Milk of Dreams.
